Welcome to the website of the ARIZONA HISTORIC AMERICAN LANDSCAPES SURVEY, a project of the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects Our mission is to document and preserve Arizona’s unique landscape heritage. Historic landscapes are special places. They are important touchstones of national, regional, and local identity. They foster a sense of community and place. Historic landscapes are also fragile places.
